Barkingfield
We helped to preserve a total of 56 acres, 45 of which became Kennett Township's new Barkingfield Park. One innovative element was the use of a transfer of development rights ordinance. A parking area and two dog parks have already been opened by the township, and future plans include an orchard, butterfly park, meadow, perimeter trails, and sunflower gardens.
