AJ Drexel Autism Institute

I led the design of a program and wrote a proposal, subsequently funded for $3.5 million over 5 years, for comprehensive college and work pathways for young adults on the spectrum.

2011-2012

Director of Autism Services

Foundations Behavioral Health

I led the development of a new inpatient treatment program for children and adolescents with ASD in behavioral crisis, a model for the largest provider of facility-based behavioral health in the USA.

2008-2011

I led a wide range of efforts to develop and implement grant-funded hospital- and community-based programs of services,  research, and training.

Delaware Autism Program

I led a specialized, statewide public school program through unprecedented growth, including new legislation, and programs of services, training, and oversight.

Research-Clinical Psychologist

Douglas Hospital

I developed early intervention programs, conducted clinical research, consulted to the Nontreal Regional Health Board, and led the first major CHAT screening initiative in North America.

1985-1993

Doctoral Training

I completed a Master's degree at Concordia University in Montreal and was first licensed as a Psychologist in 1987. I completed my doctoral degree and training as a clinical child psychologist at Concordia n 1993.

How do you develop new or improve existing services that draw from the latest evidence-based practices? How do you integrate these into community-based programs in ways that are accessible, sustainable, and, ultimately, scalable?  How do you leverage partnerships, policy, and training?
